I am writing to you to thank you and your colleagues for caring for my father, Brian Mellor. Earlier this year, when I realised Dad needed residential care, I visited many care homes and by the time I contacted White Rose I was in despair at some of the appalling homes I had visited. I telephoned your home and Vicky answered and arranged to see me and my wife straight away. Within seconds of meeting Vicky I knew we had found the right place for Dad. Her obvious enthusiasm, kindness and humour shone through and seeing the rooms after that was merely a formality. In tme, I realised that her attitude, hard work and professionalism was mirrored by all of your colleagues and that nmyust be a great credit to you and your managerial capability. I couldnt have wished for better for Dad, I only wish he could have been with you much longer than five months. Its hard to paraphrase just how wonderful you have been to Dad and to us, his family and we will always be in your debt. Would you please thank everyone for me, including all those behind the scenes staff we visitors never get to see. Thank you, you have helped us to have treasured memories of dad in his last months of life. He was at peace and his end was dignified and just as he would have wanted it.

Sandon House in Mossley have been really good with my mother-in-law, her birthday party arranged in only a couple of days, really nice carers.

My sister and myself and just brought my father out of respite from The Beeches in Dukinfield and we would like to thank the management and all of the staff for their excellent care and consideration during my fathers 2 week respite care with them. Nothing has been too much trouble for them and I would also like to say how impressed my sister and i were with the interior cleanliness. My father who is 93 years old cant wait to go back.

The staff at Amber Lodge have helped mum to settle into her new life. They interact with her, paying attention to and responding to her individual needs. In addition, they treat mum with respect for both her age and illness. The family are reassured that mum is both safe and happy in her new home and we hope she is able to complete the rest of her life at Amber Lodge.

Thank you for all the care and attention you have given Annie, my mum over the two and a half years she resided in your care home. Having visited her on a daily basis I feel I have got to know a lot of the staff and would enjoy my visits as mum and I interacted with many of you.

I am writing on behalf of myself, my sister and all my family to express our grateful thanks to Denise, Elaine, and all the staff at Stamford Court for the wonderful love, care and kindness shown to my mum, during her time at Stamford Court. They have been truly amazing. As you know, my mum had spent the last 8 years of her life in the care of Meridian, initially at Holme Lea, then Kingsfield and as her health failed finally moving to Stamford Court. She received excellent attention throughout. All your staff at these homes are a credit to your organisation. We have no hesitation in recommending Meridian to anyone. Our heartfelt thanks to you and your wonderful staff.
