Dukinfield developments: Fir Trees

Meridian Healthcare continues its investment programme with impressive additions being made to Fir Trees Care Centre in Dukinfield, Tameside.

A brand new en suite bedroom has been added to the care centre and an en suite wet room has also been installed in an existing bedroom. The total number of bedrooms has now increased to 46, the majority of which benefit from en suite facilities. All bedrooms are single and spacious and some even have private sitting areas and outdoor patios.

This investment is part of an ongoing programme to raise living standards of older people in Meridian's residential and nursing care centres. Over £20 million of investment has been made in the last 4 years alone throughout the group, in order to provide new care centres and additional facilities for residents such as new conservatories, lounges, hairdressing salons, kitchenettes and en suite facilities in bedrooms.
