Before you stay with us, we will meet with you to make sure that we can provide all the services and care you need during your stay.  This can take place at the care home or your own home.

A short stay with us can be fun, sociable and help you to get back on your feet.

'Book Ahead Respite' & Day Respite Club

Book ahead means just that!  If you require a short break over the summer period (from May up until end September) and would appreciate the ability to book ahead, give us a call. We have care centres located across the North of England and are sure to have a home not too far from you.

Some of our homes are offering exclusive Day Respite Clubs - helpful for those individuals who would like a bit of company during the day or wish to take part in activities. We can also offer a bathing service.

If you think these services would be of interest, give us a call to find out more:

* Please note, not all care centres are able to offer book ahead respite care. If you are interested in this service, we can advise you which homes are offering this service between May - September. Call us to find out more: 0161 368 9099

Our care centres can occasionally offer a short-stay care service designed to provide temporary care for convalescence or respite. Availability is dependent upon vacancies within each care centre and can be established by contacting the Care Centre Manager.

Respite can be useful following a stay in hospital or for when family or carers are unavailable or need a well-deserved break.

During your stay with us you will have your own large single bedroom and in many rooms there are en-suite facilities. You will have three main meals a day and drinks and snacks are available at any time of the day or night.

We treat each resident as an individual and so we will go out of our way to find out about you, your likes and your dislikes. This will help us when arranging activities. Our extensive activity programmes are designed to provide stimulation through reminiscence, sensory experiences, day trips and games.

Respite or convalescence stays can be beneficial to both you and your family or carers. You may not be ready to go home after an operation or feel unable to cope on your own at home following an illness and need extra support for a couple of weeks. Or your family or main carers may be unavailable for a short time but they can rest assured that you are being cared for by experienced, qualified staff in warm and welcoming surroundings.
