Our care centres

All our care centres are purpose-built and offer single bedroom accommodation, with the majority of rooms having en suite facilities.

Meridian is passionate about providing high quality care and accommodation to older people.  We remain committed to improving the environment in which you will live and have introduced services such as free WiFi internet access in some care centres.

We are proud to offer single rooms throughout. Most rooms have en suite facilities including a toilet and wash basin, however many of our care centres now offer rooms with en suite showers or baths as well as a television as standard in every room.

We insist that our care centres exceed the national minimum targets for staff qualifications and training and we receive a great deal of input from staff, service users, carers and partner organisations, all of which contributes to our ongoing investment strategy.

In addition, we are proud to have won numerous awards and accreditations for the quality of our care centres, our staff and our services.   We continue to hold the prestigious Investors in People award and hold specific care-related awards such as the Gold Standards Hallmark, which has been awarded to many of our nursing facilities for their end-of-life care provision.

Meridian is committed to a new-build programme and continues to refurbish and improve all our care centres.  Over the years a number of our care centres have either won or been short-listed for national design awards, which acknowledge the quality, style and build of our care centres.
