Alan Firth has overall management responsibility for the Meridian Healthcare group, providing operational beds for nursing,residential palliative, respite and day care requirements. Ex-Managing Director for Goldsborough Homecare and Nursing Services, Alan has been responsible for the complete financial and operational overhaul of the group over the last 9 years, taking the business into profit.

Sue has over 18 years experience of working within the care sector, with both private and public bodies. She is currently employed as the Group Operations Director. Sue's main responsibilities are to ensure that services offered are responsive to clients ever changing needs whilst ensuring that the company remains commercially and financially viable.

Barry Brooks is an experienced Chartered Accountant, appointed as Group Finance Director for the Meridian Healthcare group in 2002. Barry has successfully helped to steer the company through a sustained period of growth and development. Barry is responsible for all aspects of Group Finance including accounts production, treasury and financial planning.

Tessa is responsible for all aspects of Meridian's marketing strategy. The quality and service aspects of Meridian's business are communicated through the development of the brand, marketing literature, press and media relations. The succcess of the brand is evident in the high levels of occupancy enjoyed by care centres throughout the group. Tessa was awarded Care Marketeer of the Year in 2006.

With over 20 years’ experience in the care industry, Eve is responsible for the group’s Quality Assurance Department. This vital head office function ensures that high standards are maintained throughout the Meridian group in line with UK regulatory bodies. In addition the group has driven through quality procedures resulting in accreditations such as: Investors in People, RDB and Health and Safety 5 Stars.

Mandy is responsible for the East Division of Meridian's care centres and has 4 years previous experience as a Care Centre Manager prior to this role. Mandy works closely with the Care Centre Managers to achieve consistently high occupancy levels and with local authorities to develop and implement strategies to maintain and improve the quality and financial performance of the homes.

Debbie is Operations Manager for Meridian's care centres in the West Division. With 16 years previous experience as a Care Centre Manager, Debbie develops strategies to maintain the high quality care offered in her homes and to ensure they perform to financial expectations.

With over 28 years experience in the care industry Bernice is Operations Manager for Meridian's care centres in the Central Division. In addition to her role as Operations Manager Bernice is the Company Safe Guardian of Adults Manager and is responsible for the running of the companies POVA (Protection of Vulnerable Adults) Helpline ensuring any issues that may arise are resolved promptly and professionally.

Mark has 20 years experience in the care industry including experience as a Care Centre Manager and Group Operations Manager. Mark liases with external agencies and local authorities to ensure that all capital investment projects run smoothly and meet the high standards required by the care industry.

With 35 years nursing experience, Theresa provides clinical support, advice and supervision to Clinical Leads, Nurse Managers and Care Centre Managers within their nursing homes environment. Theresa offers training and group wide advice on Clinical Procedures to ensure best practice is carried out at all times.

Joanne heads up the Meridian HR team responsible for over 1200 staff throughout the UK. She promotes innovative incentives for staff loyalty, recruitment and training, which ensure Meridian staff retention is amongst the highest in the business.
