THE BEECHES WELCOME NEW MANAGER
Armi joined Meridian Healthcare 6 years ago as a Senior Care Assistant. During this time she has taken advantage of training opportunities including the completion of Health & Social Care NVQ Level 4 and Meridian’s in house Management training programme ASSERT to become Care Centre Manager. She is currently working towards her Registered Manager Award.
Armi is delighted with her new appointment, she comments: ‘The team and the residents at The Beeches are a lovely group of people to work with and I am delighted to be able to stay here and take on the role of Care Centre Manager, it is a fantastic opportunity for me and I am really looking forward to the next stage in my career.’
Operations Manager Bernice Priest commented: ‘Armi has worked very hard throughout her time at The Beeches to achieve the skills and knowledge to be able to take on the Care Centre Manager role. Recent results from the Residents/ Representatives Satisfaction Survey for The Beeches conducted in April 2008, indicate that there is 100% satisfaction with the ‘Helpfulness of the Management/ Senior Team’ and also the ‘Professionalism of the staff’ this is a great achievement for the team at The Beeches and I am sure that Armi will lead the team in the future to ensure that there is just cause for this fantastic feedback to be maintained.
