With bright decorations, costumes, tasty food and fabulous singing from one of their favourite entertainers, residents and staff at Sandon House in Mossley celebrated St George’s day in style on Wednesday.

Care Centre Manger Irene Booth and her team arranged the party for the 42 residents who live in Sandon House, Irene commented: ‘Our residents love live music and the entertainer we hired was fabulous, he is a regular who sings us songs that we can all join in with, it creates an excellent party atmosphere and the kitchen team provided a tasty buffet lunch and a huge cake to enjoy, overall we had a brilliant day and all of the residents seemed to enjoy themselves, especially the dressing up in daft hats and waving England flags.’
