Friday 29th February marks a double celebration for Meridian Healthcare Care Centre Manager Elaine Bradley.

Elaine was pleasantly shocked by a surprise party thrown for her by staff at Holme Lea Care Centre in Stalybridge to celebrate her 10 years long service and also to say goodbye as Elaine is leaving Holme Lea to take on a new challenge as Care Centre Manager at Meridian sister home Kingsfield Care Centre in Ashton-under-Lyne which specialises in care for older people with dementia related conditions.

Elaine started out her career as a care assistant and has worked through the company’s ‘grow your own’ development programme to the position of Care Centre Manager where she has enjoyed the role for the past 4 years at Holme Lea. Elaine’s line manager, Operations Manager Mandy Bennett presented the 10 years long service certificate with a bouquet of flowers and vouchers for a gift of Elaine’s choice at the party on Friday, she comments: ‘Elaine has worked tirelessly over the past ten years for Meridian, developing her knowledge and skills and is a fantastic manager as a result. Although it is sad for the Holme Lea team to see her leave, she is not going too far to Kingsfield which due to the type of care provided will give Elaine a new challenge and further her experience. On behalf of all at Meridian Healthcare I would like to congratulate her on the 10 year achievement and wish her well in her new role at Kingsfield.’
