If there is one thing that is for sure at Meridian Healthcare’s White Rose House Nursing & Care Centre in Holmfirth that is there is never a dull moment.

In house Activities Coordinator Julie Hunter has organised a jam packed Christmas activities programme this December to keep the residents entertained from live music performed by local bands and choirs, trips out for a Christmas tipple in the local pub, to magic shows at the Christmas party and that is in addition to the regular weekly activities programme.

Julie comments: ‘The residents always look forward to the activities run at White Rose House and we get a great attendance and positive feedback especially for the special trips and parties and I enjoy arranging events which will bring smiles and prompt laughter and excitement. We have a good social network amongst the residents at White Rose House creating a fantastic atmosphere particularly at this time of year when everyone is excited about Christmas, on behalf of all of the residents and staff at White Rose House I would like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas.’
