WESTWOOD LODGE AWARDED 5 STARS FOR THE FOURTH YEAR RUNNING
Established for the Care Industry the RDB Star rating is an independent scheme working in partnership with Local Authorities and the Private Sector to reward and promote excellent delivery of care services in residential and nursing homes.
In addition to the 5 Stars awarded to Westwood Lodge the team also received an additional 3 crowns to acknowledge the high standards of the facilities and services offered in the home. Westwood Lodge has recently completed a major refurbishment programme throughout the 76 bedroom home to upgrade all bedrooms and communal areas, the award is recognition of the fabulous new look created by the modernisation of the décor, fixtures and fittings.
Care Centre Manager Maria Mather commented: ‘The award is a testament to the dedication and consistency of the team here at Westwood Lodge in providing care to our residents that is of the highest standard. It is an honour to receive the rating for the fourth year in a row especially in the light of all of the refurbishment work that has been carried out this year, the team have worked tirelessly to ensure that there was little or no disruption to our residents during this time, I would like to say congratulations to all of the staff at Westwood Lodge and encourage them to keep up the good work, we will be looking to make it 5 years in a row.’
