Staff and residents at Meridian Healthcare’s Lauren Court Care Centre in Chester celebrated the completion of new hairdressing and nail bar facilities at a party in the home on Wednesday 10th October.

Lauren Court has recently been treated to the ‘Meridian Touch’ with the addition of an en suite bedroom taking the total up to 48, new walk in shower room, Senior’s office, new/ more homely furniture in the upstairs lounge and most importantly due to popular demand a larger, fully equipped hairdressing salon and Nail bar/ beauty treatment room.

Acting Care Centre Manager Sarah Molloy commented on the new additions; ‘The residents are very impressed with the new facilities and I have received nothing but fantastic feedback they have especially welcomed the extra space in the new hairdressing salon.’ A weekly beauty regime is important to all of the residents at Lauren Court who like to look their best at all times, Resident Edith Crawford says; ‘Hair dressing day is always something we look forward to, Val is a lovely lady and always pampers us.’ She continues; ‘We are always treated to having our nails done, but now we can sit in private and be pampered with a manicure or a foot spa, it’s like having a day out!’
