Tina Parker was thrilled to receive the Gold Employee Merit Award for her consistent outstanding contribution in her role at Meridian Healthcare’s Greatwood House Care Centre in Denton.

Administrator and support worker Tina has worked at Greatwood House for 18 years, with a total of 23 years in the care industry providing first class support for the care of the older people who live there. Tina is no stranger to the Employee Merit Award having achieved the same Award in 2005, it is obviously a credit to the care and commitment she shows in her work, Care Centre Manager Marie McPherson comments: ‘Tina is an essential part of our team, she is well respected and loved by all of her colleagues, the residents here at Greatwood House and their families. I am happy to recognise all her hard work by presenting this award, I would like to say a big thank you to Tina on behalf of all of us at Greatwood House for all the hard work she puts in, it is much appreciated.’

Marie presented Tina with her certificate, a bouquet of flowers and high street shopping vouchers at a small ceremony at the care centre, Tina commented: ‘I am totally surprised and thrilled to have received this award for the second time, I just do my job to the best of my ability. I intend to spend the vouchers and treat myself to some nice jewellery.’
