JULIE IS FULL OF BEANS

29/06/2007
Meridian Healthcare’s Julie Hunter took an unusual bath on Tuesday 26th June to raise funds for the residents at White Rose House in Holmfirth.

Always one to make a splash White Rose House’s in-house Activities Coordinator Julie Hunter jumped into a bath of baked beans at the home to raise awareness and sponsorship for the residents activity fund, it seems Julie enjoys bathing in unique ways having immersed herself in a bath of custard last year.

Julie coordinates a jam packed activities programme for the 60 residents at White Rose House ensuring there is always something on to enjoy and keep the laughter muscles exercised. The residents fund was created to pay for out of the ordinary excursions and activities organised by the home throughout the year. Julie comments: ‘I am always looking for unique ways to raise money for the fund, the residents enjoy the special outings and like to have a laugh at the mad things I do, we work hard to ensure that the activities programme is varied so that there is something to appeal to all our residents interests and abilities and the extra outings are always popular and well anticipated, we are currently planning the next one and details will follow soon.’
