There were celebrations all round at Meridian Healthcare’s April Park as it celebrated 10 years of providing quality services to older people in Eckington, Derbyshire.

Residents, staff and relatives were celebrating the Eckington based Care Centre being open 10 years with an entertainer and magician to mark the occasion. Also celebrating were employees June Rivett, Ruth Hodkin and Margaret Unwin who have all completed 10 years working at April Park since its opening.

As a part of the Meridian Healthcare Long Service Scheme they were awarded a certificate, flowers and vouchers on behalf of the company for their loyalty and commitment over the years.

Care Centre Manager Marie Spencer commented, ‘Everyone involved really enjoyed the day and I would like to pass on my congratulations to June, Ruth and Margaret for their dedication over the years.’

April Park became part of the Meridian Healthcare group in December 2005.
