Visitor to Roby House

FIRST CLASS ROBY ON TRACK

27/03/2006

The Tarbock Road skyline is quickly taking shape as Roby House Roby House celebrated the completion of the roof last week at an event hosted by Meridian Healthcare.

The event provided Meridian staff and healthcare professionals from Knowsley with the opportunity to take a tour of the development and get a feel for the size of the rooms and facilities within them.

Managing Director Alan Firth said that the Roby House development represents the company’s commitment to meeting the changing requirements of older people in the area. ‘In order to provide first class services, we need first class facilities.’ Said Alan, ‘Roby House has extremely large rooms throughout. The build standard is superb and the final fit-out stage will be amazing. We know from our experience at award winning White Rose House in Holmfirth, that what we are providing in Huyton is truly first class accommodation.’

‘Roby House will provide en suite facilities and many of our bed sitting rooms will also have a walk-in shower making the facilities on offer for older people exceptional in the Knowsley area.’, commented Pamela Case, Care Centre Manager for The Connaughtons in Huyton.

The event marks excellent progress made on this new building, designed to provide care for clients requiring long term and dementia related residential care.

Roby House is scheduled for completion in early July 2006.

Ends.
