Care Centre Manager Anne Dobson celebrated last week as she was rewarded for completing 10 years service with Meridian Healthcare.

Anne, Care Centre Manager at Fir Trees Fir Trees Care Centre in Dukinfield, was surprised by Operations Manager Gaynor Harding when as she was presented with flowers, a certificate, a long service badge and vouchers on behalf of Meridian Healthcare in recognition of her loyalty and hard work over the past decade.

Anne, mother of three, spent 17 years at home raising her children before embarking upon a career in care where she found she loves working with the elderly. She commented, ‘I love my job and on my days off am often itching to get back to work! Everyday is different and since starting as a care assistant 10 years ago I have never looked back.’

Over the years Anne has progressed from care assistant, to a senior carer and then became manager at Fir Trees in January 2005. She has been at Fir Trees for the past five years and previously worked at Yew Trees in Dukinfield and Daisy Nook in Ashton-under-Lyne.

All at Meridian Healthcare would like to congratulate Anne on her achievement and thank her for her loyal service over the last 10 years.
