Meridian Healthcare’s Lynda Phillips is celebrating 20 years with the company.

Lynda, mother of 3 and grandmother of 4, joined the company in 1985 as a carer at Ashton’s Hurst Hall. Since then she has been promoted, becoming Care Centre Manager at a number of Meridian Healthcare care centres over the years. Lynda joined the team at Kingsfield, her current place of work in 2001 as Care Centre Manager but in 2004 decided to take life a little easier and is now a senior care assistant.

Surprise celebrations took place with staff, residents and Lynda’s family at Kingsfield. All were delighted to be involved in the celebrations , none more so than Lynda who was extremely surprised by the celebratory party where she received a long service certificate and vouchers on behalf of Meridian Healthcare to mark the occasion and as a token of her loyalty to the company over the years.

Lynda commented, ‘I love my job as each day is a challenge. I feel such satisfaction in giving something back to others, I treat residents like my own family and love what I do'.

All at Meridian Healthcare would like to congratulate Lynda and thank her for her loyal service over the last 20 years.
