Meridian Healthcare continues its investment programme with extensive refurbishment taking place at the Prescot based, Fazakerley House.

Additional larger size en suite rooms will be available as well as completely refurbished dining and lounge areas and a conservatory, all designed to a 5-star standard. The high quality en suite facilities will provide a standard of accommodation unsurpassed by others in the area.

Staff and current residents are excited about the changes, as are those in the local community with people expressing interest in the new rooms already. Care Centre Manager Catherine Atkinson commented, ‘Everyone at Fazakerley House is thrilled about the changes taking place and look forward to the care centre having a new look’

The investment is part of an ongoing programme to raise living standards of older people in residential and nursing care centres. Investment has been made in recent years throughout the group, to provide additional facilities for residents such as new conservatories, kitchen areas and refurbished lounge and day care areas.
