Celebrations took place last week at Meridian Healthcare’s Amber Lodge for their two eldest residents! Residents and family at the care centre in Armley celebrated Evelyn Land’s 102nd birthday!

Evelyn has been a resident at Amber Lodge since December 1999 and is their eldest resident. Fellow centenarian, Isabel Bailey will celebrate her 101st birthday on July 8th and joined in the celebrations last week. Isabel has been a resident at Amber Lodge for almost 10 years, since March 1996.

Family, residents and staff attended the get together and all enjoyed the day.

Home Manager Lynn Dawson commented, ‘The residents really enjoyed the celebrations and it was a lovely occasion for all those involved.’
