HOTEL STYLE LIVING AT ACACIA COURT

06/05/2005
Residents are delighted with the recent improvements at Acacia Court in Pudsey, none more so than Edna Bentley aged 97 who commented, ‘I am thrilled with the changes, I see Acacia Court as my home. I’m very happy and wouldn’t have stayed so long if I wasn’t”. Edna came to live at Acacia Court in January 1999.

Dining and lounge areas have been designed to a 5-star standard and are deemed to be both attractive and functional by Acacia’s residents. The Meridian Healthcare group bought Acacia Court in October 2003. The investment is part of an ongoing programme to raise living standards of older people in residential and nursing care centres.

Operations Manager, Mandy Bennett is extremely pleased with the results, ‘The improvements that have been made are fantastic, the home is beautiful and we have received great feedback from visitors and families’.

Acacia Court provides residential and respite care for older people whether funded privately or by the local authority.
