HURST HALL TRIO CELEBRATE YET ANOTHER YEAR!
24/02/2005
A special celebration took place at Hurst Hall for centenarian residents Annie Booth, 102, Annie Wheatly, 101 and Margaret Howard, 101.
The trio, Hurst Hall’s oldest residents, celebrated with other residents, family and staff at the Ashton-under-Lyne care home with a special cake prepared by a member of staff.
Lynn Davidson, manager at Hurst Hall commented: “I don’t know what the secret is to such a long life. Annie Wheatly never married, but her nieces come regularly to see her. Annie Booth loves a tot of whisky so I’d say that’s her tip! And Margaret adores nothing better than a good chat with her friends and the staff here.”Whatever the reason they must be doing something right!
