Two elderley residents at Acacia Court spent their first Valentines Day together after meeting earlier this year at the Meridian Care care centre in Pudsey.

Bill Tunstill, 88 and Lindis English, 91 met at Acacia Court after Bill became resident in August of last year. Lindis, who has lived in Huddersfield all her life worked as a weaver in a woolen mill for 46 years before retiring at the age of 62. She has lived at Acacia Court since March 2004. Bill worked as a tailor cutter in Norwich where he lived for 20 years before moving to Leeds.

Bill says if he could take Lindis out on a date he would like to visit Skipton market, go to the country or have a nice pub lunch. The two celebrated along with other residents at Acacia Court with chocolates and a glass of sherry!
