Refurbishment work to Holme Lea Care Centre in Stalybridge started in January 2007 to upgrade reception, bedrooms, bathrooms, relaxation and dining areas, as well as a new conservatory sitting room.

Holme Lea will receive a new look similar to that already carried out in other care centres in the group. The work is a large investment into the interior of the centre and will include the creation of a high quality conservatory sitting room and an upgrade to three lounges, the reception area and bedrooms.

In line with past Meridian Healthcare projects, all work will be competed to the highest standards. Working with specialist interior design firm Catalyst and building contractors Bennett, work is expected to complete in June 2007.

The past 12 months has been a busy time for Meridian Healthcare with the acquisition of 2 purpose built Care Centres alongside investment into many existing facilities across the North of England. Other superb examples of the high standards the group attains include Greatwood House and Stamford Court in the Tameside area.
