Meridian Healthcare has announced this week that they will be adding 11 extra large bedrooms with en suite facilities to their popular Merseyside home Kirkby House.

The announcement this week for the eleven additional en suite bedrooms creates a double celebration for Kirkby House who will be holding an open day party on Thursday for the recent completion of 4 extra en suite bedrooms, a shower room and a relaxation therapy room (Snoozelum).

Kirkby House currently provides specialist care for up to 44 older people who have been diagnosed with dementia related conditions, the additional rooms will allow the home to cater for up to 55 residents in the purpose built, newly refurbished care centre in the heart of Kirkby. All bedrooms at Kirkby House are single rooms which are spacious, bright, and finished to the highest standard. The home boasts a variety of reception, lounge and dining areas for residents to relax in, welcome guests and catch their favourite programmes on the larger screen televisions or enjoy a laugh with fellow residents. Kirkby House has also recently added a Snoozelum for those who wish to enjoy total tranquillity and relaxation.
