Meridian Healthcare’s Sandon House in Mossley will be extended by four bedrooms, allowing the care centre to house up to 42 residents. The work follows on from the recent refurbishment to all dining and living rooms.

Popular Sandon House in the heart of Mossley is currently home to 38 residents and offers 1st class care in beautiful surroundings. The creation of four extra bedrooms will mean the home is able to offer their facilities to a larger client group.

All four bedrooms scheduled for completion in early September will be large, bright and feature en suite facilities. The rooms will be tastefully decorated and finished with high quality carpets, curtains, fixtures and fittings. Bedrooms at Sandon House are all fully furnished with the option for residents to bring their own belongings. For extra convenience television and telephone points are fitted as standard.

Care Centre Manager Irene Booth comments: ‘Sandon House is a beautiful home and our residents are like an extended family, we work hard to ensure that there is a full activities programme and that no special occasion, such as birthdays pass without celebration so that our residents enjoy themselves. Everyone at Sandon House is looking forward to the additional rooms and to welcoming the new residents to our community when they are finished.’
