White Rose House Nursing and Care Centre a very friendly place where we aim to make your stay with us as enjoyable as possible. We have a lot to offer you – such as excellent accommodation, lovely home-cooked food and all the help you need to make your life here pleasant and comfortable.
With fabulous views over the Holme Valley, our restaurant and lounge areas are second to none and will allow you to welcome your visitors in only the very best of surroundings.
You have your own room, so you can maintain your independence and privacy – although if you wish, you can spend time with your fellow residents in a variety of lounges and restaurant areas. You also have the constant support and attention of our highly trained nursing and care support staff, who are on call 24 hours a day should any emergency arise.
It’s important to us that you feel relaxed and welcome, and that your relatives are confident you are being well supported. We do everything we can to make this a very pleasant place to be, but if there’s anything you think we can improve on, we are always keen to hear your comments and suggestions.

There are many activities for you to join in with at White Rose House. We have a full time activites coordinator who organises a variety of activities in the care centre as well as events with those in the local community.
We hope you will get involved with the different activities at White Rose House and invite your friends and family!
We all know that food is one of life’s great pleasures, so we provide a varied choice of menu every day. You can eat in your own room or with the other residents in one of our dining rooms. As well as your main meals, you can have snacks and drinks at any time of day or night, and if you have a special diet, our chef will be happy to discuss it with you before you come to stay with us.
Your visitors are important to us, and of course are very welcome here. Friends and family can come to see you at any time throughout the day and evening. They can visit you in your own room, in any of the lounge and dining areas, or in our designated quiet room.
