We have 60 single bedrooms , some with en suite facilities. There are several lounge and dining areas, quiet rooms and a reception area where you can welcome friends and family. A spacious passenger lift takes you to the upper floor, and we also have a fully-fitted hairdressing salon – so you can make your usual appointments without even leaving The Sycamores.

Your care centre is set in its own grounds, and has a private lawned garden and patio area for those fine summer days. There’s also plenty of parking space for your visitors.

You’ll find your room complete with a bed, wardrobe and other lockable furniture. All rooms have television points, so if you prefer to watch your favourite programmes on your own, you can. All our bedrooms have a nurse call system, so you can feel safe all the time. We also give you plenty of space for your personal things, so you can really make it a room of your own.

There are also a number of lounges, for when you fancy a bit of company; and this includes a separate smoking area. They have bigger screen televisions, or you may just want a chat, or perhaps a game of cards. Whatever you enjoy doing, you can always find companionship at The Sycamores.

The Sycamores offers an in-house laundry service, to wash, dry and iron all your clothes and bedding. We can also arrange dry cleaning for you, although there is a small charge for this service.

A loop system is available to help those who use a hearing aid or loop listener.
