Sandon House Care Centre is in its own landscaped grounds, with a private lawned garden and patio area where you can sit and enjoy the warm summer weather. We also have plenty of parking space for any friends or family who come to visit you.

There are 42 single rooms, many with en suite facilities, and a variety of lounge, dining areas, quiet rooms and a reception area where you can welcome your visitors. A spacious passenger lift takes you to the upper floor, and we also have a hairdressing salon - so you can always look your best without having to leave home.

We do all we can to make sure your room is pleasant, comfortable and personal to you, so that you can really enjoy the time you have to yourself. All our bedrooms are tastefully decorated and colour co-ordinated with very high quality bedding, carpets and curtains.

Your room will contain a comfortable bed, a wardrobe and other lockable furniture. All rooms at Sandon House have a television point, so if you prefer to watch all your favourite programmes in peace, you can - and our nurse call system means you feel safe all the time. There's also plenty of space for your own personal things, so you can give your room its own individual character.

Outside your bedroom, there are a number of lounges to choose from, including a separate smoking area. So whether you just want a chat, or a game of cards, there's always some company for you. Our sitting rooms also have larger screen televisions.

Sandon House provides an in-house laundry service, to wash, dry and iron all your clothes and bedding. However, make sure your clothes are clearly marked with your name, so we don't mix them up with anyone else's. We can also arrange dry cleaning for you, although there is a small charge for this service.

A loop system is available to help those who use a hearing aid or loop listener.
