We do what we can to make sure your room is pleasant, comfortable and personal to you, so that you can really enjoy the time you have to yourself. All our bedrooms are tastefully decorated and colour co-ordinated with very high quality bedding, carpets and curtains.

Your room will contain a comfortable bed, a wardrobe and other lockable furniture. All rooms at Amber Lodge have a television point, so if you prefer to watch all your favourite programmes in peace, you can - and our nurse call system means you feel safe all the time. There's plenty of space for your own personal things, so you can give your room its own individual character.

Outside your bedroom, there are a number of lounges to choose from, including a separate smoking area. So whether you just want a chat, or a game of cards, there's always some company for you. Our sitting rooms also have larger screen televisions.

Amber Lodge provides an in-house laundry service, to wash, dry and iron all your clothes and bedding. However, make sure your clothes are clearly marked with your name, so we don't mix them up with anyone else's. We can also arrange dry cleaning for you, although there is a small charge for this service.

A loop system is available to help those who use a hearing aid or loop listener.
