Investment

Over £20 million of investment has been made in the last 4 years alone throughout Meridian. We understand that in order to provide innovative care services, we need to invest in our facilities. This has meant providing flat screen televisions to all residents as well as WiFi internet access in some care centres. We've also invested in the care centre environment itself and added new sun lounges, conservatories and even cinema rooms. We've tried wherever possible to offer ensuite bedroom accommodation and we only offer single bedrooms (unless of course you are a couple). Some of our rooms even have an ensuite bath or walk-in shower.
All our care centres have fully equipped hairdressing salons with many offering kitchenette facilities for you to make your own drinks and snacks.
Following on with our tradition of re-investing into our services, we are undertaking a programme of new developments and refurbishments during 2010/11, details of which will be announced here as they become available.

Further redecoration which completed in March 2009 saw the improvement of Westwood House, the smaller unit of Westwood Lodge which encompasses 25 of the care centre's 76 bedrooms.
The refurbishment includes the redecoration of the 25 bedrooms in Westwood House and the updating of furniture in communal areas such as the lounge and dining rooms.
